the beautiful haircut!! i think i can see where this one is going...might have to buy it for my sister (whom i once gave a VERY beautiful haircut). thank you again, sally, for coming and signing all of our billie bs.
Yes, I don't think anyone comes out of childhood without having received at least one disastrous self-inflicted (or sibling-inflicted) haircut! (Spoiler!) Thank YOU for having me over to sign all those Billie books! Don't forget to send me a photo of that gloriously-placed dump-bin! Sally
It's so great. Hardie Grant Egmont has been informing me about how great the books are selling! Makes me so happy to be part of the team! When Im illustrating the covers I have so much fun coming up with Billie's outfits :)
Hi Aki, yes, Billie has some great outfits. As a mother of three boys there aren't many sparkly hair clips or tutus at our place, I can tell you. Just lots of swords and tool belts and Superman costumes.
Hi Sally, my name is MacKenzie Dalton and I am 6 years old and I have just started reading your books and I love them, they are awesome. Today I read two books when I got home from school, I read The Spotty Holiday and the Birthday Mix up. I hope you have many more books coming out soon.
I’m glad you are enjoying the Billie books. I have lots of fun writing them. Most of the stories are based on things I did when I was a little girl, or sometimes the things my kids get up to. There are lots of Billie books so far, so I think I will stop at twenty books, later this year. But don’t worry, if you run out of Billie books to read, you can read about her best friend, Jack. He has his own series now, too.
